Sell them to the salvagers,
Take out the glass, replace it with mirror
Decoupage images on the glass and hang it as art
Take out the glass and use the frame as a pot/pan hanger by suspending it from decorative chain and adding pot hooks
Connect several together and make a room screen
Take out the glass replace with MDR covered in fabric and use as a headboard
Take out the glass and replace it with lattice to be used in the garden as a trellis
Paint the glass and lead it with glass paint and faux leading found at the craft stores

area. I want some curtains with army green in them, and I want chair cushions to match. I did get some through Pottery Barn, but the green was not the same, but I love to decorate kinda like Pottery Barnish. Any help? I’ve Googled curtains, and can find nothing. I love the cafe curtain style.

ok so i went on to that XMSims.com site
then i found the hair styles i wonted,
clicked on them,
then little window thinggo came up and i saved them in to a folder i made on the destop.

then i just assumed that when i started up sims they would be there… but there not!

please help me… what do i do

are you sure you have the Mesh for them? go on MTS2 and download custom sim Hairs there also make sure you put them in the sims 2 download folder you might have to make one also there is a tutorial on how to do that on MTS2.

I need to download pen styles with specific line weights, I dont want to waste the time of creating it for walls, windows, furniture, etc. Im sure that somewhere you can download the pen styles all ready to be used. If anyone has any information where I can get these pen styles it would be very helpful

Doesn’t make sense… you would be checking which color is which lineweight. Its advisable you create a plot style that suits your drafting style. Here are some tips in creating a CTB:
1. Use the ‘Form View’ in the Plot Style Table Editor
2. Assign the thinniest lineweight to all colors first. Select all colors by clicking (or selecting) Color1, scroll down to the last color number and HOLD shift key before clicking it. Once all colors selected, you click the smallest lineweight e.g. 0.09mm. You can then make a color selection for thicker lines. Don’t forget to save when doing changes.
3. Dark colors should be assigned thin lineweights, they appear thin on screen. Ex. Color 8 for dimension lines and Color2 or Color 4 for wall lines.
4. Always keep an updated copy of your plot style so you can use it on other computer. Click File–>>Plot Style Manager and paste your CTB there.

Using plot styles gives you great flexibility, you should be saving a lot of time by creating one.

What kind of window treatment?

I am buying a new house, so nothing is on the windows. I am really unsure of the style I want to create, but I need something covering the windows for my privacy. Looking around at other houses all I see are white wooden blinds. Any suggestions (besides sheets, cardboard, and wooden blinds) of what I could put up until I know for sure how I want to decorate?

I have Windows XP Pro installed on my computer. The taskbar and start menu are classic style, but my windows are windows xp style. Does anyone know what’s wrong?

When I Right click desktop/properties/appearance…it only have Windows Classic Style..

I’m not to sure. I doubt a virus or something along them lines would be capable of taking that action away. I would reset the computer and check again.

When i turn the unit on, water sprays from the vent in the front. Can this be done DIY style?
Let me elaborate, can it be “fixed” DIY style? Thanks!

Take the window unit out of the window…..take the covers off….. and take it to a car wash…cover motors and electrical with plastic grocery bags and be careful not to get water in those areas……

Clean both oils indoor and outdoor…clean the entire unit and make sure the drain line is clear on the outdoor section of the unit….let it dry out and install it back in the window…

You can use a garden hose if you live in a house. You don’t have to go tot he car wash. To me it’;s just easier, but I have a pick up truck and I do it all on the tailgate. They have good soaps and stuff there.

Either way you need to take it out of the window and clean it. Man up. Air conditioners have to be clean if you want them to work. It’s part of life. Even central units have to be cleaned.

You’ll be happy you did it once it’s about 95° outside

Well, how did start to happen? depending on what you did it could be a virus or just corrupt themes. get your vista disk and do a repair or go do a virus scan.

You should be able to find them year-round, but they may be more readily available in early spring. Go to your local home depot, best buy, or other appliance store to look for shutters. You can also get them done professionally at an additional cost.
